The principals of BOBKAT believe our relationship with you, our client, is based on open lines of communication. By openly providing you with our standard fee structure, we hope to reflect our commitment to this long-term relationship.
PROCURING CAUSE
BOBKAT believes in transparency, always open, and always collaborative.
To protect this long-term relationship BOBKAT does not want any issues to come between us. Stating an understanding early protects all of us from a potential uncomfortable scenario.
In the event that a candidate hired is identified by more than one source, BOBKAT shall be due a fee understanding that BOBKAT was the PROCURING CAUSE of the hire. The definition of PROCURING CAUSE under this agreement is BOBKAT’ s action that begins or sets in motion a series of events that ultimately leads to a placement or a CV which provides continuous supportive activity which leads to a placement. The client agrees that the previous posting of a candidate’s resume, the appearance of a candidate’s name, persona, image, or personal history, on the Internet or in a non-active status in a corporate database doesn’t constitute a meaningful relationship with the candidate or preclude the obligation of the fee agreement.
Retainer
Retainer Guarantee – Employee Voluntary or Non-Voluntary Separation
3 Month Separation
BOBKAT will, at our discretion, replace the employee or refund a portion of the service fee or provide credit toward a new search (minus actual administrative costs and/or actual pass-through and cancellation service fee) in the event the employee hired terminates or is terminated from his/her position of employment within 3 months from the date the employee commenced employment, providing the employer notifies BobKat, in writing, of all of the facts relating to the termination of the employee within 24 hours after termination. This guarantee is not applicable in the event employment is terminated in a voluntary separation because the employer has insufficient work, or the job description changes, or there is a monetary shortfall, downsizing, reorganization, merger, or acquisition that adversely affects the employee.
What are travel expenses
- BOBKAT actual travel costs + fee

Travel Expense charges are billed on the 15th of each month. If payments are late, there will be a late fee charge of $200.00 per occurrence.
Paid in full Retainer Payment Terms
The retainer reimbursement service fee is paid in full upon signing this retainer agreement to receive a 10% discount.
% down Retainer Payment Terms
75% of fee plus a $1000.00 service fee due at signing of the contract with the remaining balance due in three equal payments due on the 15th of each month.
If payments are late, there will be a late fee charge of $200.00 per each occurrence.
Cancellation of a retainer search satisfaction
BobKat understands changing and challenging times.
Sometimes situations change during the search process. If this should happen, all service fees due or paid by the client, minus pass-through and/or expenses, will be credited to the client’s account toward another search to be implemented within 60 days after a cancelled search. For this consideration there could be a cancellation/reinstatement fee up to $7,000. A new mutually acceptable search can be entered into based on executing a new search agreement, under the terms and conditions of the newly executed agreement.
Contingency Search
Please note: Because the goal is to reach a positive outcome for your search, not all searches can be, or should be, performed using the contingency search method. Your account development specialist will discuss appropriate search criteria strategies with you.
Contingency Service fee: 33% of the total first year’s estimated gross annual compensation for full-time employees, or 33% of estimated income for duration of contract if hired on contract basis. 60 DAY GUARNTEE:

Payment in full is due on the 15th of the month after billing. If the payment is late, there will be a late fee charge of $200.00 per each day.
*Contingency Service fee for Candidate and/or BOBKAT TRAVEL COSTS are billed as the expense is incurred and due immediately upon receipt.
